RESUMO: Ceracis kurumim sp. nov. is described based on specimens collected in Paulista, Pernambuco, in the Northeast Region of Brazil. It is the smallest known species of the genus Ceracis Mellié, 1849 and among the smallest Ciidae worldwide. We provide a detailed description and illustrations of both male and female terminalia, and briefly discuss its minute size in comparison with other similarly small ciid species.
